Presentation opportunities
What presentation opportunities are available?
You can take part in The FORGE by delivering a presentation on the main event program, or by delivering a poster to showcase your research.
How do I apply to deliver a presentation at The FORGE?
You can apply here. Your presentation should address one of the following three areas: Modelling, Characterization and Formulation in the Real World. Abstracts should be no more than 200 words.
How are presenters selected?
All abstract submissions will be selected by an Industrial Advisory Group. They will assess all submissions and select which abstracts to appear in the program.
What is the closing date for abstract submissions?
The closing date for abstract submissions is 15 January 2021. Abstracts submitted after this date will not be considered.
When will I know whether my abstract submission has been successful?
The Industrial Advisory Group will review all abstracts and select titles for either a presentation slot on the main program or a poster presentation. All presenters will be notified by the end of January 2021.
What training does The FORGE team provide for presenters?
The team behind The FORGE will provide two presentation workshops for presenters to help you prepare and give the best presentation. There will be one session for presenters that are speaking on the main program, and one session for those delivering poster presentations. These sessions will be scheduled for end-January/early-February 2021.

What are the dates for The FORGE?

How much does a ticket to The FORGE cost?
Absolutely nothing. The FORGE is a free to attend event. Whether you are a student, academic, professional or journalist working in the field of pharmaceutical formulations you are welcome to join us at no charge. We can’t wait to see you there.
How do I register for The FORGE?
Registration will open soon. Keep checking for more information about how to register.
Is The FORGE a virtual event?
Yes. The Forge will run on the award-winning Whova platform which, in addition to streaming presentations and content, enables participation using multiple devices and formats to provide an immersive networking experience.
How do I access the event?
Once registered you will receive a link and password to sign into the event. You will be able to attend sessions and participate in discussions, using your desktop computer or by downloading the Whova app on a mobile application. Once registered, you will also receive details about how to download and use the Whova mobile application.

When will the full program be available?
We aim to publish the full program in January 2021.
What does the program cover?
There will be a keynote, followed by three concurrent tracks, covering: Modelling, Characterization and Formulation in the Real World. A virtual poster exhibition will run in parallel to the main program.
